This website is operated by Shelf, an online curated fashion marketplace based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Throughout the site, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Shelf. By visiting the site, creating an account or placing an order, you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery and Returns & Exchanges policies. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Shelf offers products from independent brand partners. We take your order, confirm it with you by phone, arrange delivery through a courier, and handle customer support, exchanges and returns. You deal with Shelf for everything about your order; you do not need to contact the brand partner.

You must be at least the age of majority in Bangladesh, or use the site with a parent or guardian. You need an account to place an order. Give us accurate, current information, keep your password private, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Prices are in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT). The total you will pay, including delivery, is shown at checkout before you place the order. We take care to show products accurately, but colours may look slightly different on different screens, and we do not promise that every description is free of errors. Prices and products may change without notice, and stock is limited.

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. It becomes a confirmed order only when we confirm it.
• We'll call to confirm your order, usually within 2 hours during our support hours (Saturday to Thursday, 10 AM to 8 PM). Please keep your phone reachable and your number correct. We may not be able to ship an order we cannot confirm with you.
• If your bag contains items from more than one seller they ship as separate parcels, and you will see the parcels and their delivery charges at checkout. Parcels may arrive on different days.
• We may cancel or refuse an order, for example if an item is out of stock, a price or description was wrong, we cannot reach you, or we suspect misuse or fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will return the money.

Payment is by Cash on Delivery. You pay the courier the amount shown for each parcel when it is handed to you. For a first order outside Dhaka, or after a refused delivery, we ask for the delivery fee in advance by bKash before we ship (see Shipping & Delivery). If you repeatedly refuse parcels, we may decline future orders.

Delivery is charged per parcel, and the charge for each parcel is shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Rates and details are in our Shipping & Delivery policy.

You can ask for a return or exchange within 3 days of delivery for a wrong item, a damaged item or a size swap, as set out in our Returns & Exchanges policy. Delivery on a replacement parcel and on a refused parcel is charged as set out in the Returns & Exchanges policy. To cancel an order before it is dispatched, contact us as soon as possible; once a parcel has been handed to the courier it can no longer be cancelled, but you may refuse it at the door. This does not limit any rights you have under Bangladeshi consumer protection law.

Promo codes have their own conditions, such as a validity period, a minimum order value, limits on how often they can be used, and which products or sellers they cover. A code may not be combined with another unless we say so. We may withdraw a code that is misused.

If you post a review or photo, you confirm that it is honest, yours to share and lawful. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to display it on the site and to use it to promote Shelf. We may remove content that is false, offensive, unlawful or unrelated to the product.

You agree not to misuse the site: no unlawful activity, fake or repeated orders, attempts to gain access to accounts or systems, automated scraping, or interference with how the site works. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

The Shelf name, logos, text, images and design, and the product images and descriptions supplied by our brand partners, are protected by copyright and other laws. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

We aim to provide the site and your orders with reasonable care. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for delays caused by events outside our control (such as courier delays, strikes, weather or network outages), or for the site being temporarily unavailable. Nothing in these Terms removes any right you have by law that cannot be excluded, and our total responsibility for any single order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Orders you place after a change are covered by the new version.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction over disputes, unless the law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
